Speed Up Your Computer Without Any Software

There are many ways to speed up your computer, but almost all of them suggest you to use registry cleaner program or any paid software utilities, right? Here I tell you 6 easy ways to make your computer run faster without any additional software. All utilities are already exist in windows, all you have to do is follow the guidelines so you can maintain your computer performance and running faster than before.

The tools what I'm talking about are Disk Cleanup Utility, Disk defragmenter, Error Checking utility, msconfig utility, add/remove programs.

Disk cleanup utility is to freeing up your disk space, safely remove the unnecessary file, Empty recycle bin, remove temporary internet files, windows temporary files, remove windows component you never use, compress the old files and compress the old files. To use it follow these steps, Right click the drive you want to free up the space -- choose properties -- in the tab "general" click disk cleanup button at the bottom right of the properties. Check the list to choose the type of files you want to safely remove.

Disk defragmenter is used to defrag your hard drive and consolidate volume's free space and fragmented files and folders, especially when you copy a large file. To speed reading and writing the files you want to open you need run disk defragmenter utilities regularly, monthly, or it depends on your activities. To run the program click Start button, point to All Programs, click Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Defragmenter. If you can't find it follow the second way, right click in the drive -- properties -- click the tools tab - in the middle, click the "defragment now" button. After that click analyze to make that you need the defragmenting, note : to run effectively it's better your drive has 15% of free space.

Error Checking utility is used to detect, repair disk errors and fix bad sectors on your hard disk. Unreadable disk may cause failure in reading and writing the files and folders. Maintain your hard drive to avoid this errors. Follow the step to open the programs, in windows explorer select the local disk you want to check -- right click and choose properties, choose Tools tab, error checking and then click check now button, Under Check disk options, select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box.

Are waiting too long when windows starts? Check the startup option, is the any programs or services run automatically when windows stars? By turning off the program or services to automatically running when booting may speed up the booting process. Follow this, click start button, click run, and type
msconfig then OK, in the startup tab, uncheck the program to prevent automatically running. To turn of the services, choose services tab, uncheck the services you don't need (you have to know the usefulness of each services)

By removing the programs you never use is very helpful in speeding up your PC, carefully uninstall the programs through control panel and then add/remove programs option and then remove the program.

There were still several ways to speed up your computer, cleaning up the PC from spyware and adware by using windows defender which you can download from Microsoft website is the other ways to keep your PC's safe, make sure that you have a genuine windows operating system.

In conclusion freeing up the disk space, remove unneeded windows component, uninstall the unnecessary software, defrag your drive, detect and scan for any errors in your disk and scan your computer with windows defender to prevent any spyware at you disk.
